Urgent projects can sometimes be speeded up by “out of hours” working or dividing the project between individual translators. This depends on the details of the project, and the importance of absolute consistency throughout. However urgent your translation, we recommend contacting one of our translation project managers at the earliest opportunity to discuss your options.
For most straightforward projects, the first level is that our translator ensures that the translated text meets our operational checklist requirements, i.e. all text is translated and spellchecked, terminology is consistent, the text is linguistically correct and tailored for the target group, taking into account the reference material and any cultural references, etc. Thereafter, a second reviewer examines the text to double-check that these criteria have been met. Before delivery, the project manager then checks that the file is not corrupt and that the translation corresponds to your order in every respect.
All our employees sign client confidentiality agreements as part of their on-boarding. We have strict protocol to ensure that our customer’s information are never compromised.
Our technical translation specialists are usually degreed professionals in the industries that we specialise in. Some industries require us to keep current on new terminology and we require to keep a library of translation memory and dictionary to support our translators and clients.
You should write impeccably in your mother tongue with a style and tone appropriate to a given subject and target audience. Expertise and experience in particular subject areas would be an advantage.
