- Step One: File a Notice of Marriage

The solemnization, customary, and religious wedding ceremony must be performed with the presence of a licensed solemnizer and two witnesses older than 21 years. At the end of the ceremony, the solemnizer presents a copy of the Certificate of Marriage to the newly-wed couple.
The marriage ceremony must be held after the 21-day Notice of Marriage Period and within three months of the date when it was issued. This is the time where the Singapore marriage registration is done. If the marriage doesn’t occur within the timeframe, the Marriage is voided, and a new application will need to be filed.
